“Swinton’s kirk MSS”, a collection of original 17th-century Scottish historical documents, and of copies, 18th century.
The papers appear to have belonged to Lord Swinton, and may be the collection of the Reverend Samuel Semple, Swinton’s maternal grandfather (cf. FES i, 172).
